Nothing Unusual

2014

Sinopsis

In a large factory hangar there is a cube, inside the cube a woman turns continuously as she undresses while her entire life is projected on the four walls of the cube, from the moment of her gestation until the very moment she is turning inside the cube.  This work puts into question the relevance and meaning that the portrayal of  everyday images of a person’s life could have in the public sphere.

This installation is the outcome of an experiment in search of meaning and direction for one’s own life, at a time of confusion due to a great loss, through revisiting images and memories of one’s own past.
